MAKE ME MISS YOU*

My guy is my best friend in life. I tell you we laugh hard, speak frankly (but respectfully), and forgive quickly. It has taken us many years but we've settled in to a really good thing at this point. I believe that on most days he would take three bullets for me :-D and I...I would let him. Kidding -- I adore this guy most of the time and I have equipped him with kevlar in case bullets ever fly my way.  :-)

He works as a production manager and audio engineer and was traveling for the past two years with a well-established band. I say this to say they were not short on work, so he was gone so much that I literally couldn't tell you where on the planet he was most times unless I looked up his calendar. The past few months were primarily international travel. I think I saw him for 10 days over a span of  2 months or so. It was pretty brutal. Lots of texting and international calls... me saving all of my funny memes from Facebook and Instagram to show him all at once when he came home...because I have to show him in person so we can laugh together in person. That makes sense, right?

Anyway, I was so happy for him. He has seen so many different countries and cultures. He took video and pics when he could so that he could share with me when he returned...between me force feeding him the memes I'd saved. LOL.

He finally decided the long distance thing wasn't worth the money and he wants to be here with me so that we can do more living and traveling **together**.  Either that or he can't stand having to watch so many memes at one time. LOL. Really though, I'm not mad about him being home at all. I'm just praying he still brings that $$ in here so we actually CAN live! Ha! I might need to go on and get that tattoo, eh? {I wanna believe that it'll be alright, I just wanna breathe like it'll be alright...} Sorry -- Day 1 inside joke. :-)

So the meaning behind this song is obvious. :-D  If you haven't heard it yet, it'll make perfect sense behind this little backstory. I think besides the hook melody, my favorite thing about this one was making the "808 bass drum" sound with my mouth and being able to give it whatever note I wanted because I was "singing" it. Hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I did recording it. <3
